How to toggle between documents in same program?

I am used to windows allowing me to flip from an open email to the email program. Or, from multiple explorer windows. Yet, I can't seem to figure how on Mac.

My command / tab flips through open programs. But, can I flip through subs of some kind?

I know when I click and hold on Safari for example, it shows me the two windows I have open. However, can I do that with a key stroke?

Go to System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Keyboard Shortcuts -> Keyboard & Text Input.

Click on "Move focus to next window..." <- NOT the text part but the item that shows current keyboard combination! "cmd + ´" it was.

And assign your what you prefer. Took me a week to solve this and I even got this appleID just to tell you this.

Have you tried to use the Application windows Expose feature? On mine it is set to F10, but you can change it by going to System Preferences/Expose & Spaces. This can then be set to a screen corner or other easy form of access.

Plus, if you're running Snow Leopard OS X 10.6, you can simply click and hold down on the application's dock icon to display all the windows at once.
