sorting on 2 columns.

sorting on 2 columns.

Pages can only sort a table based on one column? U cannot sort on column A, and on Column B (within column A)? This is a common feature of Word, OpenOffice, etc. but I don't see it in Pages. If it cannot do this, is there any work around or 3rd party solution?

Copy your table in Numbers and you will be able to sort upon several columns.

It's time to see iWork as one application as well as three ones.

Bob,

To sort on Col B within a sort on Col A, sort first on Col B, then sort on Col A.

That doesn't work. If us sort on column B, it sorts on column B. Period.

This is why I urged you to do the trick in Numbers.

Don't forget that they are two components of a single tool.

I built an example table in Pages, sorted in two steps per my procedure and got the result that you described.
