Unable to download Quicktime

I have Windows Vista and I have been trying to download Quicktime. I have deleted everything and used the installer utility. I keep getting an error that says "An error occurred during the installation of assembly "Microsoft.VC80.CRT, version=8.0.50727.4053, type=win32, publicKeyToken=1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b,process or Architecture=x86. I have looked everywhere and can't find the solution. Please help...
