Does the New Macbook pro support dual external monitors?

Its becomming more common for people to use Macbook Pros for their primary workstation, can they support Dual external displays? say 2 x 1680x1050 etc?

G'Day OzCreations and welcome to the forums.

The older ones (both the original models with DVI and the 2009 Unibodies with the minidisplay port) certainly can, either using something like the appropriate "Matrox" twin head or triple head modules and the requisite cable adaptors, or by connecting one through the computers own video port and another through a video card attached to the Firewire , USB, or, where relevant, expresscard port.

I'm sure the new models are able to as well. It is certainly not a capability you would expect to see removed.

Cheers
