iTunes .m4v import problem

Hi,

I'm trying to copy a film, that I converted using Toast 10 from .avi to .m4v, to my iTunes library, I have tried to drag the file into iTunes and also tried the Add To Library option, but it's not doing it. I get the usual "+" on the mouse curser, but no joy, as soon as I move the curser the "+" disappears and nothing is copies.
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks in advance

Rob

Hi,
does the file open in Quicktime? if not, or even if it does, it may not be compatible with iTunes.

Try converting it with Handbrake it's free!
