MacBook Air & SDHC cards

I recently acquired an original MacBook Air yesterday and am having problems with loading an 4GB SDHC card that I use in my DSLR onto it.

I have tried loading the 4GD SDHC car direct from my Canon DSLR using USB cable and2 different card readers with no joy at all.

I then tried the same with a 1GB SD card and using this the 1GB SD card loads using either card reader and shows up on the desktop.

Can anyone help or explain why the Air won't load my SDHC card?

Thanks

Do these show up in the System Profiler when you have them plugged in? If not, it may be a driver issue or power issue with the USB port.

You are quite correct it was my card reader. I went to my local Apple Stores Genius Bar earlier and despite clearly telling him that the SD card was loading but the SDHC one wasn't he didn't work out that I needed a SDHC reader and just by fluke tried the stores multi card reader which worked so told me to get a new one........so much for him being a Genius hey
