error 3014 when trying to update new iphone 3gs to 3.1.3 version

Hi, I have tried many times now to update my Iphone to the newest version 3.1.3. Every time i go to update it i get a error 3014. I have tried the support page and tried the specific problem solving for that specific error, but still can not get my phone to update. I have uninstalled Itunes and reinstalled it 3 times and updated it to the newest one and still cant get it to update. Is there anything else i can do to get my phone to update to the newest version?

Many times doing a firmware update to the iPhone requires you to disable virus scanning software or firewalls. That can cause them to interrupt the downloads and cause errors. Try to just download the software and after that click on it to update. See if that helps.
