Safari -- opening new window puts cursor in search box

Any way to have it start at the address field instead? I always forget and start typing URLs into Google search. Not the most annoying thing in the world but figured I'd ask in case I can set it to my preference. Thanks in advance.

There is not a way to change this in iPad settings for Safari. I find that the cursor in the search bar is the right choice a little more than half the time, mainly due to the fact that sites I already know I want are bookmarked.
