How to add subtitles with idvd?

Hi everybody!

This is probably a very common and easy question to answer, but the truth is I haven't found yet the right answer.

I have a film in .mp4 format, subtitles in .srt and I can watch it perfectly on my Mac, but now I want to put everything on a dvd. I can easily add the movie in idvd but how can I add the subtitles?

Any ideia?

Thanks in advance.

Subtitles and captions can be a bit challenging. iDVD isn't able to create a DVD with subtitles you can turn on/off (DVD Studio Pro has that capability) so you'll have to look for workarounds. If the subtitles can be displayed in Quicktime, it's possible to "flatten" the video by exporting it. This file can be imported into iDVD.
