triggering drums

Hi
I want to trigger a bass drum when pressing a pedal (Yamaha MFC10) and a hi-hat when releasing it. Then a rim-shot with another pedal, and a hi-hat when releasing it. Does anyone have a tip for achieving this? EXS 24 programming maybe?
Many thanks

There is probably a way that's a little more slick, but this works:

Here's what the two transformers look like:

You would just change the note values to equal the notes of your bass drum and hi hat.
The data byte 2 value is the velocity of the notes, notice how one is set to unequal. This is the release of the pedal.

To set up another pedal, you would just map its CC# where the "64" is in my example. I think. I only have 1 pedal to test with here.

Sorry about that - I could have provided a little more info (especially in the first pic). Good that you got it working, though.
You were right about the sustain pedal - I had a sustain pedal plugged into a keyboard. That's the 64. For any other pedals, just click the pedal and look at the input view to figure out what CC# it's sending - then change accordingly in the transformers.
Using my way, you would have to make two more transformers for each pedal.
When you are setting these kinds of things up put a monitor object right after the transformers for verification of what they are doing.
