Hi Jen, welcome to Apple Discussions!

You're correct in thinking that you'll need the Cinemin Swap to connect this projector to your MBP.

You'll need an adaptor like THIS to generate a VGA signal from your MBP.

Then, you'll need a VGA cable like THIS to connect from that adaptor to the Cinemin Swap.

Apparently there are cables included with the Cinemin Swap, but those ones will get you connected to the Swap, for sure. I'm guessing the correct cable to connect the Cinemin Swap to the Cinemin Swivel is included with one of those two products.

Overall, it is a really cumbersome solution to connect this thing to a computer of any kind. It appears to be aimed more at iPod users than computer users.

Hi J: The link you provided looks to use a VGA connection. I suspect you need the items listed below.

NOTE: Not knowing your exact model of MacBook I am only guessing it is this type of connection, but it will be very similar.

An adapter from the MacBook to a VGA connection:

A VGA cable as shown in this link:

The VGA is quite common and available at most electronics store. The Apple cable may only available from Apple.

Hope this helps
