Two audio tracks in APT via Handbrake

Hey there...
I encoded one of my DVDs, using Handbrake.
Basically, I chose the AppleTV presets... except for the audio setup.
Here, I set up a second audio track (number one being english, with the second one being german).

So, Handbrake created a mp4 file as it was set up to.
I transferred that file to my ATV, using iTunes.
Now... everything works great. Except for the audio settings.
When I play that encoded movie in iTunes, I can choose either the one, or the other audio track as I like. On AppleTV however, it would just play using track 2 - which is weird for one.
I can't change the tracks, like you would be able to when you rented a movie in the Store...

Is there a special setting in Handbrake, that allows ATV to recognize that there are two audio tracks in the mp4? Or is there another workaround?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

Since I own the DVD, I am allowed to encode it and watch on the AppleTV... so are there any other helpful hints?

Even if this was the case (which it is not), discussing it is still prohibited under terms of Use for these forums.

Unfortunately you left little doubt about the matter since non copy protected DVD's are unlikely to contain different languages.

I'm surprised that you aren't in the US !!

sometimes i'd rather be. they have the better content in the US ITMS 😉

What about music CDs? Are you allowed to convert them to mp3 and listen them on your iPod ?

yes, that's different.

If you look again - the original poster never mentions he decrypted a dvd source - so he is still legally ok on these forums. As far as we know from his original post - this is a dvd movie he created and owns.

a home made DVD with multiple audio tracks?
unlikely i would think.

Unlikley, but not impossible - there are consumer camcorders that purport to record 5.1 surround, so an option for stereo and surround support in DVD authoring apps would seem likely (I assume FCP does have it), but multiple languages is probably pushing it for most consumers.

I agree chenks, unlikely - but we both know (I think you know at least :)) that handbrake does not remove decryption. So legally, The Original poster is not discussing how to "rip" a dvd 0r remove decryption from a commercial source.

I'm really only interested in knowing how to switch audio tracks on the Apple TV and was hoping to see an answer to the original post.
