relax read through this thread: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=11386585. have iTunes consolidate your library (file > library > organize library > consolidate files) and watch how your mobile applications folder gets cleaned up. it's fun to watch your Mac @ work ...JGG
You people act as though it's criminal to expect software to work +as it should+ or point out it's flaws. In case you haven't noticed, all software is flawed. Those flaws have to be discussed and workarounds have to be found...hence these forums. Implying that it's user error or "use something else" doesn't cut it and is a bit childish.
Unfortunately that approach wouldn't work for me, but here's what did...
1) move all apps out of your *Mobile Applications* folder and onto your desktop 2) delete any duplicate apps 3) in *iTunes > Apps* select delete all of the applications 4) go to *File > Add to Library...* and import them back from the desktop
You may have to resync with your ipad/ipod/iphone depending on the state of your *Mobile Applications* folder the last time you synced...
Brian, I couldn't agree with you more. This is supposed to be a help/information forum. Instead people like Section8 and Chris use it to antagonize people. 'FAIL'!!! Really??? What kind of help is that?? 'Go Use Something Else'!! Like what?? How about providing a link to something else? Or a suggestion with some steps (See Brian's post) on how to solve the issue?
