Error 13005 The iTunes application could not be opened. An unknown error

occurred (13005).

This just happened after updating my iTunes last night. iTunes won't even open. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

iMac Intel Core Duo, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

it tells us that there is something wrong with your usual account 😉

i take it you have tried the +apply to enclosed items+ for the iTunes music folder ? when was the last time you repaired permissions using disk utility on the main account ?

have you installed any 3rd party apps or iTunes plug-ins ?
