iphone servicing

I had purchased my iphone from Abu Dhabi airport(UAE), but I reside in India.
My iphone has got some hardware issues

(the USB charger and the right ear plug of headphones isnt working. Besides, the touch screen near the mid area doesnt sense my fingers anymore; lol? I am not able to open apps in that area of screen.)

My iphone is under warranty period.
But my problem is I had purchased a factory unlocked iphone 3GS, so where should I go for servicing it?

Apple's support and warranty coverage for the iPhone is honored in the country where the iPhone was sold officially by Apple only. You need to contact the retailer in the Abu Dhabi airport and if the retailer where your iPhone was purchased is not an official retailer for the iPhone, you will have trouble. There is a significant "brown" or unofficial market for the iPhone.

Listen dude, I purchased it from Sharaf DG (reputed shop in the duty-free mall), which I dont think will be unauthorized reseller and I paid around $1k to buy this factory unlocked one.
But they dont do servicing of any goods sold. They said me that apple offers 1yr limited warranty and you can avail that, need to check it online.
But its all fked up now, the same thing has happened with one of my laptops I purchased from abroad.
I purchase electronic good from outside of India cuz I tgt they would be of superior quality but I now realised its just a wastage of money n buyin local brands from Mumbai would have been cheaper n better plus they have excellent customer support.

"You will need to find out what country Sharaf DG is sourcing their phones from and return your phone to that country for warranty service."

How to find that?
Is there any clue on the box of it or should i go and ask them, the latter option would be useless cuz d salesman @ Sharaf DG wouldnt know where d iphone in their shop came from.

Caveat emptor, I'm afraid.

You'll have to ask Sharaf where they got the iPhone from. It's true there is a 1 yr warranty by Apple but as others have said it only applies in the market it was originally sold in. Since you have one not from Etisalat or du, you're at the mercy of the seller, in this case Sharaf apparently. You could Google the iPhone's model number and that may give a clue as to where it came from.

ty dude..\m/
I googled up d model no. which is <mc131zp> n 1 of d links showed up a no. f factory unlocked iphones list; this particular model is from **_''Hong Kong_, 3''** (HK). (I dunno wt ' 3' means?)
I respect caveat emptor but d salesman said me though d store dsnt service or take return any of d sold electronic goods but I get 1 yr apple warranty with this iphone n I can avail it online, n I dint know much about it then.
So, I now know that this one is officially factory unlocked and I can use the warranty.
But what do I have to do next since I cant fly to Singapore now, not atleast for next 6-7 mnths.
Looking forward for your suggestion.
