Could you post your diagnostics for us, eye?

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes except for "DVD/CD tests", click next, click next again, and paste the contents into a reply here.

I have same issue. Ran diagnostic:

iTunes is not running in safe mode.

** CD/DVD Drive Tests **

No drivers in LowerFilters.
No drivers in UpperFilters.
Failed loading CD / DVD drives, error -43. Try doing a repair install on iTunes from the “Add or Remove Programs” control panel.

Writing CD text is turned on in the preferences. If you’re having problems burning CDs, try turning this preference off.

No drivers in LowerFilters.
No drivers in UpperFilters.

You'll be needing an UpperFilters entry.
