iTunes isn't allowing me to burn any playlists to disc any longer. It gives me the above message and I am not sure why and how I can fix the problem. Can someone help me? Thanks.

Could you post your diagnostics for us, eye?

In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes except for "DVD/CD tests", click next, click next again, and paste the contents into a reply here.

You'll be needing an UpperFilters entry.
