Quicktime Logo History

I am currently working on a Design project at University. I was wondering if anyone knew of the history of the Quicktime Logo, mainly who designed it and when. Any other information you have would be greatly appreciated

Cheers for the answer but i've been on there already and no such luck. It feels like i've been on every Quicktime related site on the web and i've been at this all night! Everything from Twitter to Cadbury i've been researching it.

I've never seen any sort of mention about the history of the QT logo itself. I can only guess that it was designed by Bruce Leak, the lead developer for the original version of QuickTime, or one of his team back in 1990-1991. You could perhaps try contacting Mr. Leak at Skypop, where at last report he was CEO, and see if he could and would be willing to provide any information.
