The only real differences between the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of iTunes are the drivers &, I think, in Bonjour which also has drivers. If you check in the "Help/about iTunes" tab it won't tell you whether or not you've loaded the 64 bit but even on my Win7 64 bit machine the process is iTunes*32. However, when I look at the Processors list in Task Manager I only see a process for "iTunes *32". There is no reference to a 64-bit version in Help
Because there is no 64 bit iTunes application. It is only 32 bit.
The 64 bit installer includes 64 bit drivers but again, the application itself is only 32 bit.
