Question

How to add same value to multiple cells?

I want to add the same value to multiple cells in a column. I don't want to copy formatting, background color etc, just the value. How do I do that?

17" MacBook Pro 2.4GHz, Mac OS X (10.5), Dual 2GHz G5, 17" 1.5GHz Powerbook, PCs.

If the cells are contiguous and all in column C (for example), Select one of them then go Table > Add Column After.
In the new column D, enter '=C+value' where 'value' is the fixed amount by which you want to increase the amount in each cell. Fill the formula down to all cells beside the ones you want to change.
Select the cells containing the new values and Copy.
Select the cells containing the old values and go Edit > Paste Values
Select and delete Column D.

If the cells are noncontiguous, you'll likely need to change the values individually.
