HELP! DVD to iPod audio problem

Alright i have successfully gotten 1 dvd onto my ipod using handbrake (the first version). So when i saw that there was an update for handbrake that now supported formatting dvds to H.264 that WORKS on the ipod, i thought i would give it a shot and try putting another dvd onto my ipod. But it was unsuccessful the video looks great and all but i cannot hear the audio. There is just this loud static sound through out the entire video. Here's the way i set up handbrake:

File Format: MP4 file
Codecs: AVC/H.264 Video/AAC Audio
Video Framrate: Same as source
Video Encoder: x264 (Main profile)
Video Quality Average Bitrate: 768

Audio Language 1: English (LPCM)
Audio Language 2: None
Audio Sample rate: 44100
Audio Bitrate: 128

Any one have a clue what went wrong with the audio?
