My main user account (admin) seems to have gone corrupt at some level. It just happened some time this morning. I believe that it began when I launched Quark 6.5. I first noticed it when there was a 2 pt black line around some titles dialogue boxes(like style sheets,or Save As, etc.). Then upon a restart of Quark there was the same thickness line around the vertical scroll bar at the right side of the window. I then went to restart the computer to see if it would clear the problem up, when I noticed that under the apple there was 2 restarts, shut down, and log out users (one with an elipse after it and one without). Then I noticed that there was also 2 Empty Trash options with different quick keys.
This outline also appears around and Desktop Icons, once you click on them. The blessed Drive icon has it by default when nothing else has been selected. When you open a finder window the outline appears around the column view box area.
I have booted in Safe Boot, repaired permissions numerous times, ran DiskWarrior, and Cocktail. None of the other Users are affected. Running 10.4.3 on a Dual 2.0 GB G5.
Does anyone know where I might hunt down the corrupt file?
Thanks in Advance.
