Resizing a pages document from tabloid to us letter

Pages > Page Setup > choose preferred size. You will have to do some adjustments though.

Probably the quickest would be to export/print as a PDF & then the PDF can be resized/scaled in Preview or whatever PDF reader software you are using.

In your print settings, there should be one to Scale to fit paper size. It should be under Paper Handling.

You have to explain better what you are doing. You are in the Pages forum so I presume you are working on a Pages document which you later Export to Pdf, right?

You have to change the size of your document in Pages, which I wrote in my previous post.
Do you print at home? Then you don't have to export to PDF.

PDFs are really a kind of image format, used to communicate over platforms among other things. You don't do many or any change when you have saved to PDF. You do the changes in the applications you created the original document.

Just open the document in Preview, save it to the Desktop as a PDV, then drag it into a new Pages document and resize it using the Metrics Inspector, or just select it and grab a handle and drag it down to size.

Sorry, Fruhulda is right if you want it letter size. Tabloid is not proportional to 8.5 X 11. You will either have to adjust the layout or trim the print or accept the wider side margins.
