SMS and Stocks on the iPad

There is a SIM card in the 3G iPads along with am associated telephone number. Why not enable SMS?

Also, why no stocks application on the iPad? I actually used the standard iPhone stocks app; it would have been nice to simply make that also available on the iPad.

Does anybody know of the suggestions page to Apple for the iPad?

Although SMS is technically data, SMS/MMS is exchanged via the same cellular network as calls. SMS/MMS is not exchanged via a carrier's cellular data or internet network which is all the iPad connects with - it is not a cell phone. "Dumb" phones - phones not in the smart phone category that aren't capable of internet access via the cellular network are capable of exchanging SMS/MMS.
