"Google Chrome Renderer" in Activity Monitor

For those Chrome users: Has anyone else noticed, in Activity Monitor, that "Google Chrome Renderer" takes up more than one process? Right now, I'm showing SIX of these processes, taking up between 30-60 MB of memory EACH. Any idea what's going on here??

15" uMBP (mid '09), Mac OS X (10.6.3), 2.53 GHz, 4 GB RAM

Thank you for posting that detail. Apparently, Google Docs is a culprit in renderer CPU usage (specifically a drawing...was up around 95%).

Okay, I'll answer my own question, thanks to a poster on another forum. Apparently, there is a Renderer process for every tab you have open. Mystery solved. 🙂
