Error 502 Problem

I've been trying to purchase several tracks all afternoon for Thanksgiving and all I get is Error 502 - Please try again later. I haven't been able to download anything. What's more I got an email confirmation of payment from Paypal, and when I checked my Paypal account I find that 7 lots of $1.98 have been debited. I followed the instruction to try again, but it seems that Apple are charging me for every attempt.

I sent an email from the support page and got a reply back saying that they would get back to me within 72 hours. What gives? Does anyone know the phone number for ITMS support? I want my money back 😟 This *****.

I have the same problem! I downloaded one song yesterday, and then every attempt since then has led to the '502 error, please try again later' problem, and paypal keeps charging and refunding me for that one successful download. I tried the Apple email, and they replied that they had fixed the problem, but no, it keeps happening. Their latest response was to not try again til Monday. What gives? My friend was able to download just fine today. So frustrating!

I too got the "we fixed it" eMail .. but they didn't ... the overall aggregate "Buy Now" button hasn't worked since early last week .. returning either 502 errors, 5555 errors .. or "not processing Credit Cards temporarily" (my favorite) ... individually clicking a "Buy Song" or "Buy Album" will work sometimes .. but then goes right back to the above errors and I can't purchase again for hours ..

Meanwhile, I have had a PayPal refund in the "Pending" stage for over four days now .. Apple can't cover a $29.00 purchase? What .. Steve Jobs saw something on eBay he just had to have ..

This is beyond frustrating ..
