How do I import .pdf pics into iPhoto?

Try open one of these pdfs in Preview and then save it. Then try import it.

If that fails, open it in Preview, use File -> Save As to convert the file to a jpeg and try import that.

Note that calling a pdf a JPEG does not make it one - you have to change the file

You can use preview opening a PDF and doing a print to pdf selecting the send pdf to iPhoto option

If there is only a photo in the pdf file the start to print the file and in the Print window select the PDF button. Then select Save PDF to iPhoto. That will create a 200 dpi jpg file of that pdf page and import it to iPhoto. If there are multiple photos on multiple pages each page will be converted and imported.
