Margins are too wide

I really like the concept of ibooks. The fonts and font sizes are good, it is easy on the eyes, and easy to use. The only issue that is stopping it from perfection is the margins. I do not need several inches of wasted real estate. Is there a way to eliminate, or at least resize them?
