Mic makes Garbled sounds on (new)MBP in Boot Camp.

I'm trying to play Left 4 Dead 2, and my mic wont work. So I go to audio and test it out. Seems fine recording until I hit the playback, where I find that it is just garbled noise instead of what I was saying.

Any suggestions? I installed all the drivers right off of my Install DVD.
