Well Thank You, for the past few days I've felt pretty stupid of why my transitions didn't work

I've been stuck on this on and off for two days, manuals everywhere! Funny how they tell you +what do to+ do but not why things don't work.

All I can say is many thanks, it all makes sense now... until the next question.

FCP has many operational paradigms even us fanboys find silly (or vapid). You get used to them. FCP assumes much, presumes even more, and simply will not accommodate many of your wishes, especially if you have experience on other sophisticated nle systems.
You will get along with the software much better if you let yourself BELIEVE in a simple fact: whatever is frustrating you, it's your problem, not FCP's and fighting it will only tick you off.
