i have a document in Pages with a table in it and i want to cross out certain rows. i have a game list and i want to cross out the ones i have using pages with out using a pen. i want to put a line through the entirw row. does anyone know how to do this?
Select the text you want to draw the line through > show the fonts panel (⌘ T) > click the second blue down-pointing triangle where you can select single, double &, even, color of strike-through.

choose Objects/Shapes and select the line (first object).
The object is marked (open squares on the end). Now, in Wrap inspector set "Fixed on page". This allows you to move the line around and place it over the row. You can duplicate (command-D) the line and cross both lines in shape of an "X" on the desired row.
You can even group the crossed lines and duplicate the "X" as often as ypu need to cross out a row.
just wanted to say thank you for posting help on this forum, I too was looking how to do strikethrough with Pages and couldn't find it. I was always using Word, but wanted to use Pages when producing To Do lists, but now, I can officially switch over, now that I know how to do it, thanks to you...so thanks! 🙂
You're quite welcome. Because Pages uses the system-wide fonts panel, selecting things like strike-through, underline, bold, etc. are all there rather than a menu or toolbar like AppleWorks & Word.
