iPad not keeping time correctly

I've had this problem. I reset them time and rebooted the iPad. It didn't do it for about a week then a few days ago it was 20mins off. I restored my iPad to factory settings and it hasn't done it since.

I would suggest a restore to factory settings, set the time to your time zone and if it keeps doing it let Apple know by making a Genius Reservation at an Apple Store (www.apple.com/retail) or call AppleCare (1-800-275-2273).

I just noticed that my ipads are not keeping time too. I have both 32gb wifi and 16gb 3g. When I tried restoring in itunes, it gave me multiple error boxes saying ipad cannot be synced, an internal device error occured. Then my capacity indicator in itunes dropped from 32gb to 4gb. I tried again and was able to restore the 2nd time. Waiting if the time will be off when I check tomorrow. Made an appointment with Genius to bring both ipads in.

This morning I discovered my iPad 3g was 20 minute late
I went in settings -general and tried to switch date and time to
Set Automatically

It took a while to adjust and then - I was reading this thread - it adjusted itself
Should I consult with Apple or not

Did you guys tried with the automatic settings?

I followed Sirfaba's tips and now -the clock is perfect

I was wondering if the use of some apps, like Remote or SugarSync could have triggered the problem
They were the last apps I tried the day before, unsuccessfully although.

This happened to me a couple of days ago when I charged my ipad with the adaptor and did not synch with my imac. After synching with my Mac the time was corrected but after a day the clock 'drifted' again. I reported fault to Apple and they suggested a reset using 'Settings'. Did as instructed and so far OK. I am no 'expert' in these matters but not synchronising for a couple of days seems to cause a problem. Apple should be aware of this and I have sent a comment back to them

Mine is keeping time perfectly. Your best bet is to give apple care a call and see what they say, or drop by your local Apple Store.
