Hard Clear & Translucent Case List- Post what works/will work with armbands

Have any of you guys seen a hard case, preferrably clear that works with an armband. I am really picky, looking for the perfect case that can show of my Nano and is versatile. I noticed that the nano tubes are not hard cases. So far i've alreay bought a speck armband (not clear or hard) + skin and microshield (no armband support + frostiness is anoying) Any suggestions? If i see people post useful stuff i'll try to update 🙂

As a side note read the instructions as most of these cases you DON'T SLIDE YOUR NANO INTO, THEY COME IN TWO PIECES YOU SNAP TOGETHER. Sorry for the caps lock but I don't wan't anyone to stupidly scratch their nano (like I did). Let me know if any of the info is wrong.

These are the ONLY Clear/translucent hard cases I know of, I'm posting all I know, and all of them do slightly bulk up the ipod nano:

After i got the NanShield and i love it, because it is the lowest price for nano clear shield. Also i have read the reviews on http://ipodgarage.com/article.php?id=572 about all iPod nano accessories.
And I went back to their website, where i got the clear hard case from and found other stuff to protect the nano- NanMetal aluninum case, but make my nano little bigger (doesn't look like nano anymore.)
But i like it too. what do you think?

I too am looking for a hard case (easy to use) with an armband. I don't think the Agent 18 case comes with an armband, but if it did, I think that's the one I would get. Another case I'm looking at is the Audio Outfitters ezGear clearCase. The case with the armband is supposed to be available next week, but I'm not holding my breath waiting on that.

I'm very interested in keeping this discussion going because I know eventually the "perfect" case and armband will be discovered--problem is I need it prior to Christmas.

All comments and input appreciated.

Hmm can't seem to find how to edit my orginal post. Apparently the Agent 18 cases should start coming with armabands from december 4th, the European site already shows it availabe to pre-order with an Armband and I got a reply from Agent 18 informing me that they will be out this month. Also the metal cases do look nice if you want a different look. Just searching on goolge for " ipod aluminum " and " nano aluminum " brings up a whole bunch of sites with black and silver cases made from aluminum. Heres a link to a review, i'll see if i'm able to add these cases to the above post:

Also it seems like the "Nanshield" i linked to above NanShield Link seems identical ezGear over here ezGear link except that the nanShield seesm to be cheaper.
$9.99 vs $24.99. It seems like we have to be careful when shopping around as many of these cases are probably bought from the same OEM (original equipment manufactorer) and resold at different markups.

Also Cynthia Baskin2 where did you the info about the ezGear case being availabe with an armband?

Plus I called Audio Outfitters in Utah and they said it would be available next wekk, although I'm not sure if they are really and truly to be believed. We'll see.

The Agent 18 case w/armband sounds very good to me. Again, availability seems to be the issue.

I purchased a clear cover from Agent 18 and have been happy with it.

I wish it protected the wheel, but I haven't seen any cases that do that.

The Agent 18 case looks very good, I think, but it won't include an armband until next year, and I really need one with an armband by Christmas. Frustrating!

You are right. They both look the same and i belive they are the same thing. But this http://www.handhelditems.com/apple-ipod-nano-c-4_4682.html nanShield is 2.5 time cheaper then the ezgear one. The nanShield has the belt loop in the back and i can fit my armband into it.
www.Handhelditems.com announce they will have the same clear case come out for the iPod Video this week. Can't wait to get one for my iPod video too.

It looks like the handheld nanskinz will work with an armband but I don't see how the hard case will work with an armband. Can you explain that to me? Thanks so much.
