Logic Pro 9 Certification Level 1.

I have read the certified training book by David Nahmani probably 3 times now. I have taken the test exam on proprof.com in preparation for the real exam. I have failed this thing 3 times in a row. I keep getting caught up on the small technical questions - option menu this or preference menu that, all the hard facts I know. Has anyone taken the real exam? What one may expect? I am sort of dyslexic so the wording of some questions trips me out. Any advice would be great.... thanks in advance.

the test at proprof is well intentioned but many questions are inaccurate. The way some are phrased is not the Apple way and the type of questions can be misleading.

None of the questions in the exam will test knowledge of customizable key commands like how to toggle group clutch using US keyboard preset! The only ones are like modifier keys needed to do stuff which is the same for everyone.

I even saw some questions with wrong answers. Use this proprof tests as a guide only.

I did the test you linked to and reviewed the answers and counted about 8 or 10 answers that were not correct or had possible other correct answers. Many questions were badly worded and so misleading. Some questions were not covered in the Logic 9 book either! The intention to provide a test like this is normally good. But writing good multiple choice questions is not easy and sometimes tests like this can do more harm than good.

I'm too busy (and don't have the content yet) to properly use appomator. Playing around with it is cool.

They have released loads of apps made using appomator already. type in appomator in iTunes store to see them. Looks good. Some are free ๐Ÿ™‚

Saw a little to whet my appetite. If I watch more i am going to get hooked and go and buy Melodyne. It's a good tutorial. Do you use Melodyne?

I'm looking forward to checking it out. This subscription I have is tuning into a really good thing. Learning lots about stuff I wouldn't normally look at getting. I heard they have a new advanced Kontakt one in the works too. Can't wait!
