How can I find out how much space certain apps are taking up on my iPad?

Is there any way to view this on the iPad?

I'll re-ask the question. Is there an app that will show how much storage each app is taking on the iPad, this would include data stored by the app (which is not included in "Get Info"). If not an app, maybe a PC-based tool?

My iPad shows 5.3GB storage usage by apps and I would like to identify which app(s) data are using the space. I have apps such as GoodReader and DropBox that store data on the iPad. I have deleted the data in these apps, but the storage has not declined - so I may need to uninstall and reinstall certain apps. Identifying the "large users" of storage would be helpful.

I am looking for the same thing but for my iPhone. I'm running out of room and I'd like to know what to delete. Here is a link to another article with several links embeded of the same conversation:

& if your iDevice is JB: http://modmyi.com/forums/general-iphone-chat/737666-find-out-how-much-space-each -app-takes-up.html

But just like not having groups in contacts I think this is another issue Apple is going to ignore forever.

They're not ignoring it forever. In iOS 5 there is a Usage area in Settngs where you can see how much space is being taken up by each installed app. It also lets you drill down to see how much space is used by an app's program files and by its documents / data.

Unfortunately I don't know any method (including via 3rd party apps like DiskAid and similar) to see this info at the moment.
