How I can make a reservation from Germany?

Hi friends,

I'm Thomas from Germany and I go to Las Vegas on 20th May for 16 days.
I think, its pretty cool, when I buy an iPad 3G in Las Vegas and can use also the internet over AT&T.

My problem is, that I can't make a reservation online at a location store.
Have I a chance to make a reservation? Has the location store an email address?
I can't call a store, because I am deaf and my girlfriend can't speak english 😟

I hope anyone has an idea for me 🙂

I believe if you go to http://www.apple.com/retail/storelist/ and select which Las Vegas store you plan to visit, you can make a reservation online.

Oh, wait, if you mean an *iPad reservation* I'm not sure. You'd probably have to do that from the US online store, and that may not be possible from Germany, not sure. Over a two-week period there's a good chance you'd find one "in stock", or that they could order and hold one for you to pick up later.

i have tried http://reserve.apple.com/WebObjects/ProductReservation.woa/wa/reserveProduct?lan g=en&country=US&prelaunch=ALL and http://reserve.apple.com/WebObjects/ProductReservation.woa/wa/reserveProduct?lan g=en&country=US

On the first page I can't select any iPad... there is only a white site after I select a store location. On the second page I can select every product from Apple without an iPad ... 😟 What's wrong?

I see the same thing, sorry. Keep trying, or when you get to Las Vegas go to one of the stores and try it in person.

Perhaps the "make a reservation" program is no longer in effect for the iPad...

I'm not even seeing the option to reserve one at a store. Could be a glitch, could be that's no longer available as an option.

You can still go to a store and reserve one. On another post a person said he was able to do that over the phone, but that has not been the case in Missouri. Are you familiar with TTY?
