As much as possible, try to incorporate your alternate website guide in the tip. Granted it never hurts to mirror the tip on your own personal website, but as a frequent tipster here, I find it useful to put everything in one spot.

The problem with that is I don't want to try to maintain and synchronize the same content in two places, especially since edits here are not straightforward.

You'd have to dig pretty deep to get from my virus guide to a page that advertises my services... I tried to keep that as separate as possible, without cutting it off entirely from my other guides.
