My ipod that i had for barley a month wont charge at all when i plug it up to the computer a bubble pops up and says "Power Surge On Hub Port, A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message." Then i clicked it and it said " A USB device has malfunctioned and exceeded the power limits of its hub port. You should disconnect the device." and I did but nothing changes when i plug it back up and where the ipod should show up in the box that popped up when i clicked the message it said "Unknown USB Device"

Hello Titanscsj,
And welcome to Apple Discussions!

I'm assuming you are plugging your iPod into a USB port directly located on your PC? Have you tried plugging it into different USB ports available or using a different cable? Do you have any other USB devices plugged in at the same time such as an external hard drive or a USB hub attached to your system? Have you tried resetting the iPod with it connected to your system?
