2 Extra Displays for my MacBook?

Hey, so I have been using a second monitor as an extended desktop for a while now. Recently, I have gotten hold of another monitor and would like to try a tri-fold set up with the three of them. Ive been using a mini-DMI (or whatever the port it called) to a VGA converter. I just bought a VGA splitter and hooked everything up, but now both of the extra monitors are showing the same thing (mirroring eachother) and whenever I go to the system preferences, it seems to be treating them both as the same monitor. SO, my question is : is there any way to hook this up so that both monitors are working as separate extended desktops (panoramic) or does the 13" macbook pro even support this type of thing?
