SVGA Monitor, HDTV and Video Capture

Can you connect Mac Pro to a SVGA monitor (LG Flatron 995FT 19") or HDTV (LG 32LT75 32")? Is Mac Pro the only Mac for which you can buy a HD video capture card for your Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 games?

Windows XP, iTunes 9, iPod Nano 3rd gen

MacPro or MacBook Pro?
Anyway both of them can be connected to VGA or DVI/HDMI - the purchase of adapters (if not included) maybe necessary.

Mac Pro (the big table computer), I already have a laptop. Does Apple sell adapters for my SVGA monitor and HDTV? Also, is Mac Pro (not laptop Mac) the only Apple computer, for which I can buy HD video capture card?
