How to Get More Memory

My computer is telling me I have insufficient disk space and I am about to start school for graphic design and would like to purchase the Adobe Creative Suite and be able to use it on my computer at home. What is the most economical and efficient way of solving this? Should I buy an external hard drive and move all my photos/music onto that instead to free up space?

If you're up for it, buy a new, larger internal hard drive & replace the one you have. Of course, you should also buy a larger external drives for backups too.

Replacing the drive in a MacBook is very simple. If you're interested, I'll provide the information you need to get started!

But yes, you could just buy an external drive and move data over as well.

Hmm...I'm definitely going to get an external hard drive but will replacing the internal hard drive to a larger one be very expensive? Now I'm even considering splurging and getting a 21" desktop in addition to my laptop and doing work on there? What do you think is the most economical way in terms of a long term investment to go about this? Clearly, I have no idea what I'm doing here... 🙂 Thank you for your help!!
