Best place to put autosave, cache, media files, etc
Hello, I wanted to know where the best place to put certain files when working. For example, Are autosave files fine on the boot drive? What about waveform, thumbnail cache? Are projects ok to save on the boot drive just as long as their media is on a separate drive?
I have two HDD, one is a 640GB which is my boot drive and where I keep the apps and all there files like templates, sound loops, etc. My second drive is a 1.5TB and this where I plan on keeping my media files. I didn't know if this is where I should also keep my final cut pro documents stuff that os x makes when you install fcs.
