GQ Magazine App

I've downloaded the app and got the May issue. I see that you can also purchase prior issues from within the app itself. My question is once you've read an issue how do you delete it? I'm not interested in building a library of GQ issues but I cannot find any way of deleting the current issue to make room for future ones. I just want to delete the specific issue not the app itself unless that's the only way to delete the issue.

Yeah, I checked it out too and got the same thing. My guess is that it's like the Time magazine app. Each time you download the current issue it simply replaces the one that's there. It probably lets you redownload past issues but keeps only one at a time. Like Time, I find the whole thing ridiculously priced. Wouldn't a printed subscription be a lot less?

I'm not buying any more magazine apps until Apple gets this mess ironed out. Most of the magazine apps like GQ and Men's Health don't offer subscriptions and they don't sync the magazines back to your computer. I downloaded an issue of Men's Health and in the process of learning how to use my new iPad, I accidentally deleted the app from my iPad and the issue went with it. I've tried contacting the company twice and no one ever replied.

In addition, I like to save my magazines. Some of them for years. The only good magazine app is Zinio which offers subscriptions and saves all of your issues.
