How does it take to get a custom Macbook Pro?

Man. I can't wait for my Macbook Pro! I ordered it May 17th but haven't received any updates. So excited to receive my first Apple notebook. Any idea how long it takes to be made and delivered?

2.66GHz Intel Core i7
8GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRM - 2x4GB
500GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200
SuperDrive 8X DL
MBP 15" Glossy WS Display

Mac OS X (10.6.3)

This is a user to user forum. The only folks who know anything about your MBP delivery are the folks who are shipping it to you. Get a tracking number.

Check the order status. I received mine within the window they suggested. It did drive me a bit nuts though 🙂

I ordered an identical laptop on the 18th and it shows as ready to ship as of this evening.

In my case I was told "ships in 5-7 business days" and "delivers in 2-3 business days" (with expedited delivery) and those figures were pretty accurate. Check your tracking number... I know the anticipation factor can get pretty high 🙂

My order said delivers in 3-5 days (delivery to Canada), but every other day UPS has adjusted that estimate higher. It currently scheduled to arrive 11 days after the ship date. Apple was bang on with their estimate for having the laptop ready to ship out, at least.
