Q: when rebooting one client machine, often 1~4 LUNs are missing
OS version is 10.5.8. Xsan version of MDC is 2.1.1. For clients, 1.4.2 and 2.1.1 mixed. There are 72 Xsan clients, there are 49 clients with xsan 1.4.2 and 23 clients with xsan 2.1.1. Totally 84 LUNs are recognized on each client. And there are 4 Xsan volumes in total. ============================== Problem encountered is below: when rebooting one client machine, often 1~4 LUNs are missing, and the Xsan volume including missing LUN is not mounted. We have to reboot the client again and again until all LUNs are recognized. Mount failure due to LUN missing occurs only on Xsan 1.4.2 clients.
