    @Wajubalo: sadly you seem to be the only one who reports that the edge gestures are not working. But fortunately I have an idea... I will email you soon. But first of all, do you have MBA or MBP? Which diagonal and generation?

    @Pratnala: Thanks. Just to double-verify, is the checkbox for the zoom gesture in the enabled state?

    Regarding the Test Mode thing, please try the following:

    1. Exit the Power Plan Assistant from the tray;

    2. With File Explorer, go to "C:\Program Files\PowerPlanAssistant";

    3. There, delete the file named "_stub_ppa";

    4. Reinstall the Power Plan Assistant;

    5. Start the Power Plan Assistant;

    6. It will recommend to reboot, do it.

    @Vladimir, the checkbox in gestures is checked. as i said, three finger zoom works in desktop apps not in metro

    And Vlad, one more question. Is it possible for two finger scrolling in Metro without having "Respect Focus" on?

    One more thing. Even with "Respect Focus" on, two finger scrolling isn't working in the "Times of India" Metro app. In a few others I checked, it worked. But this one, it didn't.

    Hey Vlad

    Some important points. The steps you gave to remove "Test Mode" didn't work. So, I thought let me try on my own. I uninstalled Power Plan Assistant, Trackpad++ and ran those 2 bcdedit commands which enforces driver signing again. Then, I restarted and "Test Mode" disappeared. Now, I installed Power Plan Assistant 3.0b, and it would not turn off the keyboard backlight. I restarted and tried and it still won't turn off the keyboard backlight. So, I ran the Windows 7 x64 SP1 Unsigned Drivers Fix which you gave me. I restarted and "Test Mode" was back again :(. But, this time, it could actually turn off the keyboard backlight. I continued and installed Trackpad++ 2.3c RC1 and restarted. The only good news out of this is that three finger zoom works again in Metro!

    Anyways, please advise on how to remove that "Test Mode" watermark. And, I had a feature request, can you implement pinch to zoom? Or is it too complicated?

    Hey V-l-a-d-i-m-i-r,

    Great work.

    I am having troubles installing.

    I have a MBPr with windows 8. After installing powerplan7 sucessfully, rebooting and then installing trackpad++ and two unsiged drivers, my trackpad will not work and I get the error that trackpad++ cannot communicate with the driver. There is an error in the device manager on the trackpad++ drivers.

    Any suggestions?

    @pratnala: Just sent you an email. Please check. Regarding pinch-to-zoom: for a while I am trying to figure out how to implement it, but no luck yet. It's different from any other gesture, and it's not clear how to register this event. That's why I had implemented 3-finger zoom instead. And well, this is much better than nothing

    @smc_: 32-bit or 64-bit Windows? Anyways, please try the following steps.

    1. If the '++' icon is still there, exit the Trackpad++ Control Module from Windows tray;

    2. Now simply install the Trackpad++ again, using the following file:

    http://www.powerplan7.com/Trackpad_Plus_Plus_Driver_Control_Module_23c_RC1_Setup _10092012.exe

    BEWARE, I caught a rather nasty adware called "snap.do" downloading this Trackpad++ util!!!

    Hi Vladimir,

    I am running 64 bit, I don't have the ++ icon, the trackpad++ console will not load becuase it cannot communicate with the drivers. I do have the powerplan icon in the taskbar.

    Coincidence? Provocation? Anyways, here are two master hints, relevant to any software you are installing:

    - Only download the file from an official mirror (a highly respectable TechSpot.com in our case... they continuously run complex AV software on their servers, plus I submit the file personally, no third party).

    - Submit all the files you are installing to www.VirusTotal.com before actually executing the installer. Their online engine combine over 40 up-to-date AV/antimalware engines, and you see the complete report in just a few seconds (of course, the Trackpad++ shall be 100% clean according to this report, and it is).

    Also, people, I want you to be aware that, because the Trackpad++ can make the Windows 8 experience so close to OS X (and it will become only better and better!), Apple may not be interested in such scenario. I mean, in the Trackpad++. They never planned the Boot Camp to be any good, and the poor trackpad experience is one of the key Apple's weapons against Windows. So, I do not deny they can hire some Mr.Smith who will spread the negative word :). No big benefits for them by, for example, just deleting this thread. Unlike by letting the people think the software is dirty... So, beware people! Beware of the provocations, now and in the future!

    smc_: so did you try reinstalling from the link I provided?

    Yes! Test Mode is gone!!

    And can the charms bar be made to disappear when I swipe back onto the edge i.e. in the reverse direction? Same for the app switcher bar? Just wanted to know if it is possible. It is more intuitive that way

    Hi V-l-a-d-i-m-i-r ,

    I did try to reinstall uing the link you provided and I get the same error. I never see the ++ icon, when I boot up the track pad dosn't work and I get the messsage "Cannot communicate with Trackpad++ driver! Please reinstall the Trackpad++." Reinstalling dosn't help. I am running win8 64 bit.

    Any help would be appresiated. Powerplan works fine.

    Hey smc_, did you try to reinstall the Boot Camp drivers? The complete Boot Camp driver package from WindowsSupport folder. You know, no one, ever, reported that Power Plan Assistant works fine while the Trackpad++ doesn't. In fact, right today several people reported that this same build works perfectly on the MBPr. I think what you have is some very unique error in Boot Camp drivers stack. Please try reinstalling!

    Sorry, I'm extremely busy right now. Will be back here tomorrow. Got some good news for the community, actually!

    Cheers

    No provocation...bad luck sure, but no provocation.

    I downloaded Trackpad++ from the link in this thread and PowerplanAssistant later; I must have Google searched and ended up on the wrong site

    It took me a  while to clean up my PC, I haven't tried installing again.

    Hey Vladimir,

    When I use the advance startup mode and Disable Driver signature Enforcement the driver loads and I get gestures although no icon or control pannel.
