Itunes and Ubuntu

Please, do not take this out of the site.. I do not have the money to buy a Mac and the patience to deal with windows. I am sure many of you have an ipod touch or an iphone, htey are great. So easy to web browse, read emails etc. I would be fantastic if Apple could make a version of Itunes for Ubuntu. It does not need to be open-source (like Skype)just millions of other user being able to access their accounts through other OSs.

Thank you for your time, I just had the need to share my points with somebody..

This is the wrong forum, and not the place to submit suggestions to Apple in any case. Use this:

http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html

Don't count on it, though. At least not anytime soon. The market share for Linux on the desktop is still very small, and the engineering effort that would be involved in porting all of QuickTime and iTunes large.

I know how it feels when you find out that your favorite operating system doesn't have the software you'd like it to have. I think we Mac users here in this forum definitely have come across that at some point in our careers. 🙂

But Dave has this about right really. iTunes U is part of the whole iTunes Empire, but it's more a part of the iTunes Store end of things and less involved with the application side of iTunes. So it's more effective to follow Dave's suggestion posted earlier in the thread.
