Star Trek Transporter Effect
Looking for a plugin, effect, transition, or a way to create the glittery look around someone like in Star Trek when they transport. Any help or ideas?
Have a go yourself.
The original series was done by filming metal filings poured out of a bottle and the filings strongly lit to make them sparkle, then turned the footage upside down to make the sparkle effect appear to go up instead of down.
Once you have shot the effect you should be able to layer, size and invert it easily in FCE.
You might even think up something even better? 🙂
