Do they make any Mini Displayport Splitters?

No, the video chips in all Mac systems are only designed to handle a maximum of two displays. So even if there were a splitter, all you could do with it is have multiple displays showing the same thing. And if you really want something like that, you'd probably need some kind of signal booster sitting in the middle.

You could probably do Mini-DisplayPort to say VGA, and then find a VGA splitter device that has a signal booster that sends the input to several different displays. But like I said, they would all be showing the same thing, you won't be able to connect 3+ displays and have each showing different content.

OWC makes something that might be a good solution for you. Is this on the order of what you're looking for?

There is a 1-to-4 mini Display Port splitter I've seen online, but have never tried. It's a bit expensive and may be overkill for your needs, but worth a look:

I'm looking for one that's inexpensive and just 1x2, but haven't been able to find one just yet. I have a feeling they're out there somewhere.

Not to hijack the thread, but I too am looking for a simple 1 to 2 mini Displayport splitter for the back of a 27" iMac. One for video input to the iMac to use as a display, one for output to a projector so the iMac could also be used as the presentation machine.

We have a number of AV carts with iMacs/projectors etc, and it would be very cool if we could have a mini displayport cable mounted so faculty with mini displayport MBPs could also opt to just use the iMac display for small group discussion instead of having to fire up the projector.

My understanding is the iMac mini displayport is auto sensing, and wouldn't require any more equipment to get the iMac screen to sync either way, in or out.
