I can't log into my iTunes account.

I created an iTunes account, but when I try to log in using the iTunes client, it won't let me. I checked several times and both my Apple ID and password are correct. I even got an e-mail confirming that my iTunes account has been created. I also tried logging in with the e-mail address I signed up with, but that also didn't work. It will let me log into the Apple forums using my account however. When I try to log in using the client, it gives me this error message: "The iTunes store could not process your request try again later." I have tried several times. I have even closed and then re-launched the client again, and tried it, but I go the same error message.

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm having the same issue. I at first could not access the iTunes store. I've since fixed that but now I cannot log into my account.
