Bad Request (Request Header Too Long)

I'm getting this error message when I try to either place an order through websites (clicking on a buy button of some sort that should take me to the websites shopping cart) or when I try to sign up for something through websites (join an e-zine list):

Bad Request (Request Header Too Long)

I can take the web page info, copy and paste into Firefox and it works just fine.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

HI and Welcome to Apple Discussions...

From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Preferences then select the Security tab. Where you see "Web content", make sure the top 3 buttons are selected.

Relaunch Safari and try a website shopping cart.

If that doesn't help, from the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Empty Cache or Option + Command + E on your keyboard.
